Volunteers of America kick off their conference with a collective activity
Volunteering is all about taking action, so it's no surprise that the Volunteers of America National Conference wasn't a passive experience with presenters and Powerpoints.
Instead, Piccles was used as the energizer to kick off the conference and get everyone to visualize things you would find in a healthy community.
This provided a crowdsourced visual vocabulary that everyone could draw upon as they worked in teams creating visions of healthy communities.
This enabled the association to come together as a whole, but also connect on a more personal level by facilitating group work.
