Networking for introverts
We all know that feeling - walking into a room full of people you don't know, scanning all of the conversations happening and wondering how to start one of your own.
Networking can be a daunting experience, especially for introverts. You're in a new place where you don't know anyone, and the comfort of your hotel room, or blending in with the wallpaper, is all too attractive. That's why we've created "Networking for Introverts," an innovative event format using Piccles that transforms networking into a comfortable, creative, and fun experience for everyone.
In this event activation, your attendees experience:
Ice-Breakers: Kick off the event with fun and low-pressure digital art activities designed to help attendees relax and connect. Using Piccles, participants can share their thoughts and feelings anonymously and serve as unique conversation starters and help ease the initial awkwardness of networking.
Connecting on what matters: Replace traditional "who you are, what you do" with a richer conversation on skills, goals, fears and values. By starting with drawing, it becomes easier for introverts to share more about themselves because they simply need to describe their drawing instead of starting from scratch.
Guided Group Discussion: We use drawings to sort everyone into smaller breakout discussions and give them a kickoff question to spark conversation.
1 on 1 Discussions: Drawings are also used to match people up 1 on 1 in our speed networking rounds.
Closing Celebration: End the event with a celebration of the collaborative artworks created throughout the session. Attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on their experiences, share their favorite moments, and receive digital copies of the collective mosaic - now hang THAT on your fridge.
By the end of "Networking for Introverts" , attendees will have formed meaningful connections, gained confidence in their communication abilities, and experienced the joy of being vulnerable in a safe setting.
