At the 2023 CattleCon held by the National Cattleman's Beef Association, cattlemen used Piccles to leave their brand on the event and compete to win free tickets to the next one.
National Cattleman's Beef Association
TL;DR
The National Cattleman's Beef Association (NCBA) needed a compelling way to engage thousands of members attending their annual conference. Seeking an interactive and memorable experience, Kristin Torres, Executive Director of Meetings and Events, turned to Piccles with a unique idea.
The Challenge
NCBA wanted to create an activity that would not only engage attendees but also allow them to leave a personal mark on the event. The goal was to capture the diverse cattle brands, many of which have been passed down through generations, and showcase them in a collective, impactful way.
The Piccles Activation
Kristin envisioned using Piccles to create a massive interactive drawing experience. On the show floor, a large screen was set up, allowing attendees to scan a QR code and draw their cattle brands. This activity served as both an engagement tool and a way to honor the heritage of each cattle farmer’s unique brand.
Interactive Experience and Prize Drawing
The interactive drawing board became a focal point of the event. Attendees enthusiastically participated, drawing their brands and entering a contest to win tickets to the next year's conference. Piccles' email capture functionality was enabled, allowing NCBA to build a comprehensive list of participants.

Creative Output and Custom Merchandise
The artwork created during the conference was compiled into custom shirts, featuring all the unique brands. This not only provided attendees with a memorable keepsake but also highlighted the rich diversity and heritage of the cattle farming community.
The Impact
The Piccles activation successfully engaged thousands of NCBA members, creating a vibrant and interactive experience. The initiative captured the essence of the community’s heritage and left attendees excited for future events. One lucky winner received tickets to next year’s show, adding an extra layer of excitement and participation.
Conclusion
The National Cattleman's Beef Association’s use of Piccles at their annual conference effectively engaged members and honored their heritage. Cattlemen aren't known as the most artistic group, illustrating how Piccles can appeal to events in any industry, making them interactive, memorable, and impactful.
